He@rtbreak!ng photos: People stood by while this man was st@bbed to deat# in South Africa

People stood by while a Mozambican man, Emmanuel Sithole, was cornered, st@bbed in the heart and left to die. This happened yesterday in Johannesburg and yes, he died from his wounds. Killed just for being from another African country.. and the story told by the journalist who witnessed this brutal stabbing is heartbreaking! See more photos and read the full story from Times Live after the cut…
The brutal d€ath of Emmanuel Sithole
As told by Beauregard Tromp and James Oatway for Timeslive.co.za

Shortly before 7am yesterday April 18th, Sunday Times journalists were in Alexandra township, near Sandton, speaking to shop owners who had their businesses looted overnight. Children played, people walked the streets, some stopped to gawk at the carnage from the night before. Then this happened …
In a gutter in Alexandra a Mozambican man stopped and lay down. The gash to his chest meant he could go no further.
At the day clinic less than 100m away they could not help him. The doctor scheduled to be on duty did not show up because he was a foreigner and feared being a victim of xenophobia.
It began on Friday night when mobs blockaded Arkwright Avenue, one of the main thoroughfares in Alexandra, with rubble and burning tyres. Foreign-owned shops’ roofs were ripped open and metal gates torn away as looters went on the rampage.
Outside one spaza shop, a man in a black corduroy jacket and red shirt was walking along the road.
Suddenly a young man dressed in a grey tracksuit jacket beat him over the head with a wrench. The red-shirt man tried to fend off the blows, his arms raised. He stumbled back, falling into rubbish strewn by the roadside. The blows with the wrench rained down. Then the bludgeoning stopped and the man with the wrench moved away.
“Are we safe here?” asked a South African woman watching the attack.
The man in the red shirt got up. Now another man with a beige spottie approached, holding an okapi knife high above his head. Again, the man in the red shirt raised his hands, pleading for mercy. But his pleas were in vain. He was st@bbed … again and again.
The two grappled and fell to the floor. The man with the wrench returned. Finally, a lanky young man sprinted towards the man among the rubbish, kicking him in the head. The young man pulled a butcher’s knife. A man in a black leather jacket who had discouraged the attack grabbed the wrist with the butcher’s knife. The attackers fled.
The red-shirt man tried to get up but fell. Finally he made it to his feet. Feebly, he walked up the road.
Do you know why they attacked you? Who are you? Where are you from, we asked him.
He turned his head towards the questions fired at him, his face pleading. He said nothing. His shirt was drenched, a 2cm gash in his chest.
Metres further he stumbled and lay down in the gutter. He struggled to sit up and fell down
“Help me get him into the car. Help me, please,” said photographer James Oatway, looking around at the men gathered around him. One stepped forward, reluctantly.
Up the road, at Alexandra Day Clinic, nurses did what they could. There was no doctor; he would have to be taken to Edenvale Hospital.
Along the way the man was flailing wildly, sitting up, lying down, wincing with pain. The wound to his chest was gushing now.
At Edenvale Hospital a lone gurney stood at the entrance. The porters sat in a room with tinted windows. Oatway pleaded for help. The man in the car was critical, he said.
Slowly one porter rose and scribbled in a book. Then the other, both now ambling towards the hospital entrance. Inside the car the red-shirt man looked lifeless.
“He’s dead. We can’t take him,” one porter pronounced.
There was no pulse. Then a gag reflex. He’s alive.
Inside the ICU, doctors compressed his chest, ma$$aging his heart. After nearly seven minutes a ventilator was used. Shortly after 9am Emmanuel Sithole was pronounced dead. He was Mozambican. The stab wound to his chest had penetrated his heart.
In his pockets, R285 and 10c in change and a cellphone. His phone would ensure he did not die nameless.
On his wrist, three armbands read: “United for Bafana.”

Impeachment Threat: I am ready to negotiate with APC lawmakers — Fayose

The face -off between the 19 All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in Ekiti State House of A$$embly and Governor Ayo Fayose may soon be over, as the governor says he  is willing to  negotiate with the lawmakers
The lawmakers are pushing for the impeachment of the governor, as they have directed the state Chief Judge, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, to constitute a panel to investigate allegations of gross misconduct levelled against him and his deputy, Dr. Kolapo Olusola
Fayose and Buhari
Speaking on Friday during a thanksgiving service at Ansar ud Deen Mosque, Ado Ekiti on his victory at the Supreme Court, which affirmed his election, Fayose said he was ready to sit  with the lawmakers and negotiate.
This statement was not without a caveat as the governor clarified that he was ready to make peace with the lawmakers as long as they were ready to embrace the move in the over all interest of the  state.
“I am not opposed to anything that can bring peace; peace cannot be wished away. I’m ready to accommodate everybody. Whatever they want, we can sit down and talk”, the governor stated.
“There is no perfect man. They should allow peace to reign. All I want is peace that will energise development”.
He said he was waving the olive branch in the overall interest of Ekiti people as well as restoration of peace.
Fayose said he had received calls and appeals for amicable solution to the lingering crisis by eminent Nigerians, religious leaders as well as traditional rulers.
The governor  apologized to those he might have   offended one way or the other, in the course of carrying out his duties as governor saying only God was perfect.

Guru Maharaj Ji who predicted Buhari’s failure has another message for the President-elect (MUST READ)

Sarguru-Maharaj-Ji
Recall that before the presidential election he had predicted that there was “no vacancy for Buhari at Aso Rock” for the All Progressives Congress candidate.

However, the prophecy did no come true as Buhari emerged winner of the March 28 polls.
Days after the results announcement, Maharaj Ji delivered a message to the president-elect while speaking during the 28th Anniversary of the establishment of his Maharaj Ji Village in Ibadan, Oyo state, on April 18, Saturday.
He said the advice became necessary in order to increase the productivity of the workers and move the country forward, PM News reports.
“The pensioners too should be paid their entitlements when due because they served the country before their retirement.
“Some pensioners have died of hunger because their entitlements are not paid in time.
“If the incoming administration can tackle this, it would make Buhari and governors-elect to make history where others Nigerian leaders had failed.
“Project allocation and execution should be equally distributed so that every citizen could benefit from the dividends of democracy.
“No section of the country should be singled out for development at the detriment of the others.
“Employment and appointment opportunities must be on merit and be equitably distributed.”
The religious leader also noted that he would gladly provide solution to Nigeria’s spiritual problems if invited to do so.
Guru Maharaj Ji is highly respected by Nigerians over his contribution to the development of the country and over his predictions on important events in the country.
Some of his statements, however, generated controversies. Earlier this year he spoke against women in politics saying that “women must not lead”. Interestingly, this comes amid the ongoing competition for Taraba state governorship seat, with female leading candidate (Aisha Alha$$an of the APC).

Forgive Me, There Is No Perfect Man – Fayose

Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti state governor, asked those he might have offended, for forgiveness saying that “there is no perfect man”.
Fayose Begs For Forgiveness During Prayer Session
Speaking during a special prayer session on April 17, Friday, Fayose said he was ready to cooperate with the opponents for the sake of peace in the state, The Punch reports.
The session was organized for the governor in Ado-Ekiti to mark his recent victory at the Supreme Court in the case challenging his eligibility for the election in the state.
It should be recalled that  19 Ekiti APC lawmakers issued a notice of impeachment to the governor over allegations of impunity, violence and stalking among other constitutional breaches.
In his Friday speech Governor Fayose noted:
“If they say someone has enemies, I’m number one in the world. But God has been merciful and has been helping me to overcome my challenges.
“I need your prayers because it will strengthen me more. I’m here in the mosque to thank God.
“All I want is peace. I have a constitutionally guaranteed tenure. A governor is judged by his achievements in office. All I’m interested in is to bring development to my people. My opponents know if I have a rest of mind I will achieve my objectives.
“All those I have offended should forgive me for the sake of the ma$$es and orphans. They should know people gave me the mandate. Nobody is above mistake; they should forgive me.
“We are here to thank God and pray for peace. I’m appealing to those aggrieved to please allow peace to reign.
“There is no perfect man. They should allow peace to reign. All I want is peace that will energise development.
“Anything that can bring peace cannot be wished away. For me, I’m ready to accommodate everybody. Whatever they want we can sit down and talk.”
It is worth mentioning, however, that the Supreme Court has not cleared Fayose from facing criminal charges for his role in the Ekiti rigging scandal. The proceedings are ahead.

Buhari Welcomes Steps Taken By Jonathan On South Africa’s Xenophobic Attacks

The Nigerian President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, says he is in full support of the steps taken so far by the Nigerian government in its efforts to protect the country’s citizens from the wave of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
In a statement released in Abuja on Saturday, April 16, Mr. Buhari said that Nigeria’s Head of Mission in Pretoria had taken the right steps by advising the Nigerian community in South Africa to close their shops, stay home and keep out of trouble, while ensuring that they obey the laws of their host country.
“We equally understand that the South African government is making efforts to bring an end to this unfortunate situation,” Mr. Buhari said. “In the meantime, Nigerians in South Africa should abide by the words of caution extended them by their government representative in Pretoria.”
Mr. Buhari also commended the Nigerian government for its decision to monitor the situation in South Africa and evacuate its citizens at any sign of escalation.
“I am happy to see that the Nigerian government is very well aware of its responsibilities to its citizens in South Africa,” Mr. Buhari said.
The President-elect expressed sadness at the unfolding events in South Africa, recalling Nigeria’s and South Africa’s friendly relation since the end of apartheid.

Xenophobia: Another Nigerian Attacked In South Africa [Must See]

Amid the xenophobic attacks in South Africa directed at foreigners, another Nigerian has reportedly been targeted in Johannesburg.
This post written by a Nigerian living in South Africa has recently appeared on Facebook. It contains the terrifying details of how a Nigerian has been attacked.
See the original of the message below:
Xenophobia: Another Nigerian Attacked In South Africa
With the crisis escalating, Muhammadu Buhari, the president-elect, commended President Goodluck Jonathan over the steps taken by his government to protect Nigerians from the violence in South Africa.
In a statement dating back to April 16, Thursday, Buhari said that Nigeria’s Head of Mission in Pretoria had taken the right steps by advising the Nigerian community in South Africa to close their shops, stay home and keep out of trouble, Premium Times reports.

“We equally understand that the South African government is making efforts to bring an end to this unfortunate situation. In the meantime, Nigerians in South Africa should abide by the words of caution extended them by their government representative in Pretoria.”

Regarding the effort by the Federal Government, the APC politician said:
“I am happy to see that the Nigerian government is very well aware of its responsibilities to its citizens in South Africa.”
Aggression towards the immigrants in South Africa was apparently triggered by King Goodwill Zwelithini who last month said that foreigners must pack up and leave the country.
Numerous African countries have started evacuating their nationals. The main reason for this year’s violence is believed to root in the poor economic state and the high level of youth unemployment in South Africa.

Photo Father And Daughter With Longest Tongues In The World

Byron Schlenker, 47, has a tongue measures a ma$$ive 8.6cm across, while his 14-year-old daughter Emily isn’t far behind, with her tongue measuring 7.3cm at its widest point.
Byron, who has now been nicknamed the Gobfather, only discovered his rare gift when he picked up a copy of the Guinness Book of World Records while helping Emily with a school project at the library.
Byron said:“
Turning the page I saw that the world’s widest tongue was a guy from Australia at 7.9cm. On the way home I started thinking my tongue is pretty wide, I wonder how wide it is?”
Byron measured his tongue and several months later the organisation crowned him and Emily as having the world’s widest male and female tongue.
Byron explained that his gob-smacking record has made him quite the celebrity in his hometown.
He said:
I get stopped by people at the grocery store or when I’m out in town to take a picture. I have had people come to my house to sign their record book. I even had one lady who asked me to lick her Guinness Book, which I politely declined.”

Finding ‘Juju’ Placed In Various Corners Made Me Move Out Of Govt House – Oyo State Gov Ajimobi

Ajimobi
Re-elected governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi has explained why he moved out of his official residence to his private residence. He said he moved out of the Government House to stay in his own private home after he discovered fetish things placed inside the house by some unidentified people.
He said his spiritual fathers a.k.a Alfas advised him to move out of the government house so that the evil plans of those placing the sacrifices (ebo) within the premises will not work.
He said this during the eighth-day Fidau for the late Chief Imam of Ibadan land, Sheikh Baosari Haruna in Ibadan yesterday April 16th.
“They first came to you Alfas to give them prayers that will send me out of office, but my own Alfa’s prayers superseded theirs. Every morning, I go out for exercise. If you know the Government House very well, it has many interchanges, popularly called orita, I see all kinds of sacrifices (ebo) placed at these junctions. Worried by these developments, some of you my Alfas here advised me to move out of the Government House to render their evil plots useless,’’ he said.
All this in the name of serving your people or for stealing for your own pocket?

Man Have s*x With Tree After Taking A Weird New Drug [See Photo]

Kenneth-Crowder
What can’t we see on this earth? First, It was the woman who fell in love and enjoyed having s*x with a tree, now a man?!
There is a new synthetic drug sweeping the great state of Florida— it’s called “flakka,” and it’s best described as a newer, more intense version of bath salts— because, apparently, the drug people think of when they think of someone eating another dude’s face is still too mellow for some people.
According to several reports, flakka has been responsible for a string of bizarre behavior in south Florida. (Or, more bizarre than usual.) Firstly, a man high on flakka allegedly tried to break into a police station in Fort Lauderdale. Then another man, who was also reportedly on the drug, str!pped na.ked down Broward Boulevard; skillfully dodging police cruisers and screaming about how the people who stole his clothes were trying to kill him as he did so. Now: a dude tried to have s*x with a tree…and that’s not even half of it.
Kenneth-Crowder
According to WKMG, Kenneth Crowder was seen running na.ked through a residential neighborhood (clearly a flakka side effect) yelling about how he was God and committing what is described as a “s*xual act” on a tree. By the time a police officer arrived Crowder had a$$umedly “finished” because he had gotten dressed, but that didn’t stop him from still introducing himself to the deputy as the creator of the universe and walking towards him in an “aggressive manner.” He then allegedly proceeded to go at the cop with clenched fists. When the cop tried tasing him, Crowder “pulled the probes out of his body and continued to fight.”
If that sounds metal, listen to this: Crowder then switched personalities from God to Thor (the Norse god of thunder) and proceeded to try and stab the officer with his own badge. How he got it, and what part he used isn’t made clear.
Crowder, whose mugshot shows him with a black eye, was booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex. He later posted bond and was released.
You want to know the scariest thing of all? According to WKMG, while the majority of chemicals in bath salts were banned in 2011, the primary active ingredient in flakka is still 100 percent legal.
Hmnn…. Interesting!

Why I Conceded Defeat To Buhari – Jonathan Finally Speaks (You All Need To See This)

Jonathan-Buhari-hug-2
President Goodluck Jonathan has defended his decision to concede defeat to Muhammadu Buhari in the March 28 election, saying he was concerned about allowing his personal ambition scuttle a democratic system he helped nurtured, with the likely consequence of a “collective tragedy”.
Mr. Jonathan said Thursday that he needed to check his ambition, as the consequences of not doing so may have been dire not only for Nigeria, but Africa.
The president made the remarks during separate meetings with the new amba$$adors of France, Senegal and Ethiopia. He was responding to commendations for his decision to promptly accept defeat after it became clear Mr. Buhari had won the polls.
“Democracy has to be nurtured to grow. Strong democratic institutions are the backbone and future of our democracy. They must be protected and nurtured. As for me, as a matter of principle, it is always the nation first,” Mr. Jonathan said.
“You need to have a nation before you can have an ambition. It should always be the nation first. You don’t have to scuttle national progress for personal ambition.
“Since I a$$umed duty, I have been involved in quelling political crisis in some African countries and I know what they pa$$ed through and what some are still going through. If you scuttle a system for personal ambition, it becomes a collective tragedy,’’ President Jonathan declared.
Mr. Jonathan urged world leaders and international institutions to give their fullest possible support to the incoming administration of Buhari.
He also called on all Nigerians to do their utmost best to help the incoming president succeed in leading the country to greater heights of accomplishment.
The president appealed for patience, understanding and cooperation, which, he said, Mr. Buhari will need to move the country forward to greater, peace, security and progress.
Speaking with the new French amba$$ador, Denis Guaer, President Jonathan urged France to extend the support and a$$istance it gave to his administration to Mr. Buhari’s government.
“President Francois Hollande was our guest in Nigeria during the celebration of Nigeria’s centenary. He has been very supportive of the country in the fight against terrorism. I expect that the same warmth and goodwill will be extended to the incoming government. I expect that France will continue to work with the new administration, especially on issues of terrorism.
“The United Nations has been supportive as well. Our troops, supported by regional forces, have done very well in fighting the terrorists in recent times. What we need now is support to help our people get back their lives,’’ he said.
The amba$$adors commended President Jonathan for setting a record of humility, patriotism and courage in safeguarding the democratic process in Nigeria and Africa.
“Nigeria is not only an economic power in the world today, but also a great democratic example. And it is all by your effort, Mr. President. The last elections and your response was truly a great achievement and you will always be remembered for it,” the French amba$$ador told the President.
Mr. Guaer, the new Amba$$ador of Senegal, Baboucar Sambe, and the new Amba$$ador of Ethiopia, Samia Zekaria Gutu, who were at the Presidential Villa to present their letters of credence to President Jonathan, also a$$ured him that they will do their best to strengthen relations between Nigeria and their countries during their tenure.

Man indicted in US for drug deal elected Senator in Nigeria – AP

This is an exclusive report by A$$ociated Press and it’s about PDP Chieftain, Buruji Kashamu. Read the report below…
A man indicted in America for allegedly smuggling heroin, in a court case that was the basis for the TV hit “Orange Is The New Black,” has been elected a senator in Nigeria.
Buruji Kashamu was little known before he returned home in 2003 from Britain despite a U.S. extradition order to become a major financier of President Jonathan’s party.
Election results posted late Wednesday identify Kashamu as a senator-elect in southwest Ogun state. Opponents are challenging his victory in court, saying ballots were rigged.
Kashamu, 56, hung up the phone twice when the AP called for comment about the drug case on Thursday. Kashamu has said he is “a clean businessman” and that the 1998 indictment by a grand jury in the Northern District of Illinois for conspiracy to import and distribute heroin in the United States is a case of mistaken identity. He has said Chicago prosecutors really want the dead brother he closely resembles.
A British court refused a U.S. extradition request in 2003 over uncertainty about Kashamu’s identity. Chicago Judge Richard Posner thought otherwise when he refused a motion to dismiss Kashamu’s case last year.
A dozen people were long ago tried and jailed in the case, including American Piper Kerman, whose memoir about her jail time became the Netflix hit “Orange Is The New Black.” Kerman’s book never identified Kashamu by name, but there is a West African drug kingpin whom she calls “Alhaji,” meaning one who has completed the haj or pilgrimage to Mecca.
A Nigerian federal court last year ordered Kashamu’s extradition, an order upheld by an appeals court. But Nigeria’s government has not extradited him.
That failure caused Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president, to warn that “drug barons … will buy candidates, parties and eventually buy power or be in power themselves.”
Jonathan’s perceived protection of Kashamu was a factor that led Obasanjo to defect from the ruling party before recent elections to the opposition that won most votes in Ogun, the home state of Kashamu and Obasanjo.
Kashamu is suing Obasanjo for libel for stating that Kashamu is a fugitive from U.S. justice. He had won a court order halting publication of Obasanjo’s autobiography but a judge this week rescinded it, saying Kashamu had misled the court. Obasanjo’s lawyer argued that the truth cannot be libel.
President-elect Muhammadu Buhari, a former military dictator who had people jailed for littering in the 1980s, has promised to fight corruption. That has many politicians fearful in a country where corruption is endemic.

These 5 Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History Will Leave You SPEECHLESS [PHOTOS]

Kidnapping is not a rare crime in Nigeria. While the country is still in shock over the news of Orekoya kids abduction by their nanny, Naij.com recalls the most terrible kidnap cases in world history.
1. Elisabeth Fritzl. Austria
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
She was kept in a secret basement compound by her own father Joseph for 24 years, together with three of the seven children he fathered with her.
The man s*xually abused and ra.ped Elisabeth, sometimes several times a day, from the second day of her incarceration right up until her release in April 2008. Over the course of nearly a quarter of a century he would ra.pe her at least 3,000 times.
“Kids from the cellar” lived there for so long that they developed their own type of communication via growls, grunts and animal like sounds, although their mother tried to teach them while in the captivity.
The hostages saw the end of the h0rr@r when Joseph took one gravely ill daughter to the hospital. Soon the truth transpired.
2. Steven Stayner. USA
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
The 7-year-old was kidnapped by one Kenneth Parnell in 1972. The child molester told “Dennis” (as he re-christened him) that the boy’s parents had made him the legal guardian because they couldn’t afford to take care of their son. Stayner was being ra.ped until he reached puberty, after which Parnell kidnapped younger victim, 5-year-old Timmy White.
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
Stayner managed to escape and reach the police station to tell his story and protect White from the horrible ordeal.
Interestingly, due to the laws in place at that time, Kenneth Parnell was only sentenced to seven years and was paroled after five.
3. Fusako Sano. Japan
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
She was kidnapped in 1990 at the age of 10 by Nobuyuki Sato, a 28-year-old mentally disturbed man, and forcefully kept for nine years. Just 55 km from the location where she had been abducted, he kept Sano tied (the first several months) and beat her.
When rescued, Sano was extremely thin and weak due to lack of exercise: she could barely walk.  While her body was that of a 19-year-old woman, mentally she acted like a child.
4. Genie. USA
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
Also called “feral” or “wild” child, spent nearly 13 first years of her life locked in her room. She was born in 1957 to mentally unstable parents and was at an early age diagnosed as retarded. Her father decided to try his own treatment. Withing those 13 years he always strapped her to a child’s toilet or bound her in a crib with her arms and legs completely immobilized.
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
Every time Genie shed a sound, he beat her. By the time the girl was discovered, she had only 20 words in her vocabulary and some phrases (mostly negative like “stop it”, “no more”).
5. Patty Hearst. Sweden
Most Terrifying Kidnap Cases In World History
Probably, one of the most famous cases of Stockholm Syndrome (a psychological phenomenon in which hostages have sympathy and positive feelings toward their captors).
The granddaughter of the famous publisher in 1974 joined a terrorist group known as the Symbionese Liberation Army, after they had kidnapped her.
Isolated and threatened with d€ath, Hearst was brainwashed into supporting their cause, making propaganda announcements for them and taking part in illegal activities.
She was found 19 months after the abduction and received a long jail sentence, which was further regarded as unjust. Her sentence was commuted (after two years in prison) by President Jimmy Carter, as it became evident that she was as much a victim as anybody else.

This photo of president-elect Muhammadu Buhari and Rivers State governorRotimi Amaechi shaking hands has been circulating online and it has got everyone talking – and we are wondering why.

However, we think it’s just a harmless handshake. What do you think?

Kidnapper caught with 4 girls in Ogun [See Photo]

A 47-year-old suspected kidnapper seriously beaten  at Abudu community, Iyana Ilogbo, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, when he was caught with four girls he was taking out of the community to Ajah in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Pm news reports that, the suspect, Nurudeen Badmus, was caught by an acquaintance of one of the girls who demanded to know where the suspect was taking the children to early in the morning. When he couldn’t offer a satisfactory explanation, the aquaintance raised an alarm which attracted other members of the community
Badmus was beaten seriously by the residents and was later taken to the local chief’s (Baale) house where he was interrogated.
The suspect told the Baale that he was taking the children to Ajah in Lagos State where he claimed they came from.
“They came to me for financial a$$istance to enable them go to Ajah in Lagos State. I was taking them to Ajah when somebody identified one of them. I am only a$$isting them,” the suspect told the large crowd at the Baale’s house.
The kidnapped girls, however, denied that they sought financial a$$itance from the suspect. They claimed that he picked them from the community and told them that their parents were witches and were planning to kill them.
One of the girls who identified herself as Jumoke confirmed that the suspect was taking them out of the community, adding that they didn’t know where he was taking them to.
“My name is Jumoke. I am 16 years old. Badmus lives near my house. He told me my mother was a witch and that she was planning to kill me. He said I should follow him to a town to escape being killed. He warned me not to tell my mother. I didn’t know the place he was taking me to. He also tried to ra.pe me but I resisted him,’’ she narrated.
The youngest of the girls who gave her name as Nimota, 9 years old, said the suspect picked her on the road.
“He picked me on the road and told me that my mother was a witch and was planning to kill me. He said I should run away with him. I don’t know where he was taking me,” she said.
When the parents of the children arrived the Baale’s house, they were full of praises for the community. They identified the suspect as a neighbour, stressing that they didn’t know he was a kidnapper. The Baale of the community later invited the police at Sango Police Station where the suspect was taken and interrogated.

Just For Voting APC In Last Election Two Men Divorced Their Wives In Kaduna

apc-pdp-NL
Two women in Kaduna State incurred the wrath of their husbands for choosing to vote for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the last general elections.
The two middle age men (name witheld) of Kaninkon community in Jema’a Local government Area of the State divorced their wives after the last Saturday gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections. The two men, Leardership gathered, are members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Other findings also revealed that a young man sent his aged mother out of his house because she voted for APC too.

Buhari To Nigerians: Don’t Expect Change Immediately

Muhammadu Buhari, the president-elect, once again reinstated commitment to ensuring positive change in the polity, however…
… he urged Nigerians not to expect immediate results from the newly elected administration after it takes office on May 29, The Nation reports.
The All Progressives Congress politician made a claim on April 15, Wednesday, in his hometown Daura, Katsina state, when visited by some senators and reps.
“People should not expect change immediately because of accumulation of problems in the country. There is need for more time and prayer from the public for the incoming administration to handle matters and bring change.
“I am affirming my commitment to fighting economic sabotage, insecurity, bribery and corruption.”
Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, Jigawa state governor-elect, who was also among Buhari’s guests, vowed to support the incoming All Progressives Congress government’s policies to bring positive change.
It should be recalled that Tam David-West, Nigeria’s former petroleum minister, yesterday expressed similar point of view regarding the beginning of Buhari’s tenure as he said:
“This thing they call 100 days in office is nonsense. If a family packs into a new house, they cannot settle within three months. But a good leader will make impact within six months to one year. I have faith in Buhari and I believe he is going to bring a lot of improvement to Nigeria.”

He was sighted at Kutigi town and people even offered him water to quell his taste.
I hope he can complete it.

Lobatan! PDP Defectors Will Only Have Influence In Their Constituencies, Not In My Govt. – Buhari

Muhammadu-Buhari1
Just days after Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the presidential election, stories of ma$$ive defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ruled the airwaves. But the defectors will be shocked by the position of the president-elect on their move.
In an interview at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, Buhari noted that members of the APC had nothing to fear over the ma$$ defection of PDP members to the party.
“I have no fears of PDP defectors,” he said. “The people who are defecting will only have influence in their constituencies. Since their constituencies are now controlled by the APC, their influence is, therefore, limited,” he said.
However, Buhari expressed hope that the defectors would be realistic about their position in their new party.
“I hope the people that are defecting will accept the fact that they are joining the people who succeeded. So, I don’t think they will just come and say they want to be ministers next month, simply because they were ministers before,” he said.
